Two prominent and well respected Danes are now added to the Hello Future Speakers lineup in Barcelona. TV producer Henrik Saabye will speak in the main auditorium on Saturday afternoon discussing new media and the ever changing TV landscape. This will be the second appearance at an ITTF conference for the world recognized Danish TV producer who also had the honor in the Copenhagen conference 1999.
Peter Sartz ready to discuss Racket Control
The ITTF is also happy to announce that the Danish Table Tennis Sport Director and top ranked European coach Peter Sartz has agreed to take the podium for the panel discussion on Racket Control Friday evening. Sartz is well known as the man behind the success of Danish star Michael Maze. He will now join the ITTF President Mr. Adham Sharara and the German rubber manufacturer ESN owner and president Georg Nicklas for the much anticipated opening session.
Saturday 1 May is jam-packed with interesting stuff for Table Tennis fans. Alongside sessions offered by ITTF Executive Directors Mikael Andersson – on ITTF Athletes Development, Glenn Tepper – on development and Jordi Serra on the ITTF and Youth Olympic Games, conference delegates can also dip into presentations by the Swedish Music Producer Martin Andersson on Table Tennis and sound effects as well as Miguel Crespo from the International Tennis Federation talking about International Online Education Projects for Tennis coaches. Still to be confirmed as the final piece of the conference puzzle is a presentation on Spanish Tennis and the management of young promising Tennis players.
The evening session at the CAR Center features two former Swedish World Champions – Jorgen Persson and Peter Karlsson opening up bag of interesting fun and knowledge for coaches and spectators in the shape of a “live clinic “.
Yassine Yousfi IOC /Olympic Solidarity – Opening Proceedings on Sunday
First out on Sunday morning is the IOC Olympic Solidarity Project Manager Yassine Yousfi speaking on the subject; Available educational opportunities for coaches supported by the IOC / Olympic Solidarity. Second up is the long time TMS Director Anders Thunström with an interesting run down of TMS Marketing highlights during the year competition year 2009.
